In celebration of its 20th year, the Powerball game will be redesigned to bring more value to its players. Starting January 15, 2012, Powerball players will notice some changes.
Jackpots will start at $40 million and with better odds, will be easier to win. Additionally, players who match five white balls will see the second prize level increase from $200,000 to $1 million. A match of five white balls plus the Power Play prize will be increased to $2 million, and the lowest level prize, matching just the Powerball, will increase from $3 to $4. Read More >> |
